I'm starting with visuals, seeing as they're cheaper most of the time, and I've got black housing projector headlights, black mesh kamei grill, and black housing euro tail lights, I took out the two little vents on the lower part of the front bumper and left the center one there.

my next upgrade will probably be an exhaust, think I'm just gonna run custom bent piping to a borla muffler, if anyone has any different suggestions for a 'nice not rice' exhaust I'm looking for something deep and loud when I want to get on it.

next would probably be a CAI, but I don't know how much that will really give me, the exhaust is a must because to fix my jetta before because of misfires I had to cut a hole in my exhaust and its pretty annoying now.

and eventually I want to chip it, anyone know what kind of power gains I'll see from a chip?

I was thinking of eventually making a vrt or perhaps super charged, it all depends on if I want to keep it or get a new car.

front before grill/headlights

rear before tail lights

and front after

rear after

my two front rims have pretty bad curbrash, and I need new tires, does anyone know where I can get them refinished? or would I be better off buying new ones when I get the cash/chance?

A chip will get you around 6-9 hp, depending on the manufacturer. TT has some nice exhaust systems, you should be able to get an aluminized one for around $400. You dont need to go all out on on stainless, IMO. VR6's are fairly quiet to begin with, unless you are running straight out of the cat. My VR has a "high flow" (lol) cat and straight to a free flow muffler. Its nice and quiet. You can hear it a little when you get on it but most of the sound I think comes from the intake. There a couple sets of nice OEM 17"s on craigslist. vr6dubya has one of the, montes. The other set is the ?R32? rims, I think. Both for $300 or under.

Really? I didn't like the way the stalk tailights looked at all on my car, which is the main reason why I got different ones.

Hey man, whatever, its your car. We dont have to like it, we are just giving our opinion. Thats what makes us individuals. The main reason I dont like them is after they came out everybody and their brother HAD to have them. They got so popular so quick that, IMO the aftermarket flooded the market with tacky, ugly lights for everything from hondas to fords, and that just ruined it for me. I will have to say that I like to black background lights that you have rather than the chrome ones. Dont take offense, do work and be proud!
