I'm sure that a GLI would fit but im also trying to see if a TTs axles would fit? anyone know? plus i know there AWD TTs and FWD TTs. trying to see if anyone knows? theres a broken down TT at VW specialty so i'm hoping that axle would fit!

I'm looking through vortex as we speak.

really any info would be great.

Well, today on my way to work, i realized a problem. On full throttle...AWESOME...but if i just have partial throttle...as soon as it goes from vac to boost...it shoots from 0 straight up to 20 and if i keep the RPMS in that one spot...it will go 0,20,0,15,0,18,0,15,0...when i full throttle it...it will hold strong though.

Anyone know why it would do ...

I'm leaking oil on the side of my engine and it looks like it's the cam chain tensioner/half moon gaskets. I just ordered them, but i guess i'll need the tool to be able to lift up the tensioner to replace the gaskets. Anyone have this tool that i could borrow, or someone want to help me with this. Seems pretty simple, just need the tool and don't feel like paying 35-40 bucks for a one time use tool. Let me know. Thanks

A few notes about the godawful noise you're about to hear on the video:

1. The noise goes completely away when accelerating, unless you're turning the wheel.

2. Otherwise it is almost always present, but it's never constant (higher or lower pitched, loud or quiet, seemingly at random).

3. It's the worst when turning either left or right, so in the video you'll hear it at it's loudest.

4. It's coming from the passenger side.

5. If you pop the hood and have someone turn the steering wheel ...

It was idling rough and and sluggish on acceleration. My neighbor let me use his OBD AutoScanner and it said it was the camshaft position actuator. I can find the part online for about $70, anyways, the dealer listed of several other things that needed to be replaced as well, a bunch of stuff with the cam gears and timing.
Anyone dealt with Lee VW in FWB for maintenance/repair.

I just got an 09' JSW TDI and have heavily trolled the TDIclub forums which have me scared to let a dealer touch my car for anything but an absolutely necessary warranty issue. I would like to know I can take my car to some place local and have them change my oil and put the proper 507.00 spec oil, proper levels, etc.

I'm due for my 5k checkup but am hesitating without hearing some good stories from the locals.

Let me know if ...

VeW Specialty

Anyone have experience (good or bad) with these guys? I've heard a couple of good things from 2 or 3 people, but I wanted to get some other people's opinions. My car is running really really bad and I just can't find the time to mess with it. I think it's the o2 Sensors, but I don't want to drop 150-175 bucks on some sensors if that's not what it is. Let me know if anyone has had some experience with these guys. Thanks

Alright, I've got the old fashioned style key... but my car is a 2002 and should be compatible with the switchblade style remotes. So, if I buy a switchblade/remote style key, which I think is about $50 bucks from the dealer, and they cut it for me free (if I remember correctly, that's what the dude told me) how will I get the chip inside programmed so I can start car with it etc.

I heard you can program it with VAG-Com, do you need certain tools or do you hook Vag-Com to car, put key in ...
